Embedded Software Validation Engineer (HIL / Automotive / EV)

We are hiring an experienced Embedded Software Validation Engineer to support cutting‑edge electric vehicle (EV) and charging systems development within a high‑performance engineering environment.
This role focuses on embedded software testing, verification, and validation using Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) systems, ensuring delivery of safety‑critical automotive software to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead embedded software validation and verification activities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test frameworks
- Perform testing using HIL systems (dSpace preferred)
- Ensure compliance with ISO26262 / ASIL functional safety standards
- Conduct root cause analysis and debugging of system issues
- Support test automation and continuous integration (CI/CD) environments
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in embedded systems validation / testing
- Hands‑on experience with HIL / dSpace tools
- Knowledge of ISO26262 / ASIL safety standards
- Programming skills in Python, C or C++
- Experience in automotive, EV, electrification or power electronics
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab, Jira or similar tools
Desirable
- Experience with EV charging systems, inverters, DC-DC or AC-DC systems
- Knowledge of automotive networks (CAN, LIN)
- Background in real‑time control systems
