Role Summary and Impact

We are looking for a Paid Social Specialist to serve as an Account Director. This position will manage day‑to‑day paid social operations for a busy client account, lead a team of junior staff, and build trusted relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across key social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap, TikTok, etc.) and deep knowledge of the UK social media landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Own the paid social output for one or more client accounts, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of social specialists, overseeing daily activity and staff workloads.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, becoming the trusted voice for paid social initiatives.
  • Plan and activate large‑scale paid social campaigns, balancing brand and direct‑response objectives.
  • Create insightful end‑of‑campaign reports and presentations, collaborating with a team to deliver regular client updates (QBRs, annual reviews).
  • Lead integrated media plans, leveraging digital/social channels to complement other media initiatives.
  • Ensure effective communication across diverse stakeholders and cultures.

  • Extensive experience setting up and optimising paid social campaigns across key social platforms; platform certifications (e.g., Meta Blueprint) is a plus.
  • Planning large‑scale paid social campaigns across a mix of brand and direct‑response objectives.
  • Compiling detailed and insightful end‑of‑campaign reports & presentations; managing a team for regular client presentations (QBRs, annual reviews).
  • Clear track record of working with clients and external stakeholders, comfortable presenting to clients and leading calls.
  • Line‑management experience, training and mentoring junior staff across all paid social disciplines.
  • Collaborative, friendly, and can‑do attitude with strong teamwork skills.
