Bank Residential Team Leader

Salary: £14.38 per hour increasing to £15.08

Hours: Bank – Zero hours

Shift Times: 0 hour contract – as/when required in the service

Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Bank Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Llys Hafren, situated in Welshpool. The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
  • Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Experience working with older people in residential care.
  • Completed or working towards NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent).
  • Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
  • Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
