We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a multi-site Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contract across three sites in Bristol and Somerset. About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will oversee all operational, financial, and compliance activity across three court sites, leading a team of up to 20 people. You’ll ensure the contract delivers against KPIs, maintains statutory and technical compliance, and continues to achieve high client satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of a multi-site PFI contract and ensuring full contractual compliance
- Managing budgets, performance, and service delivery with a focus on sustainability and long‑term value
- Supporting and developing Site Managers and operational teams
- Managing supplier relationships and ensuring KPIs/SLA obligations are met
- Overseeing health & safety across all sites
- Leading lifecycle planning and annual work scheduling
- Running monthly performance meetings with the client
- Driving continuous improvement, governance, and customer excellence
- Conducting staff performance reviews and supporting wellbeing initiatives
What You Will Bring
- 2-3 years of PFI contract management experience – essential
- Strong leadership experience within multi‑site operational environments
- Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver consistent results
- Technical or FM qualification (IWFM or NEBOSH preferred)
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills
- A resilient, confident decision‑maker with a people‑focused approach

Working Pattern
- Based across three sites, with travel required between locations
- On site five days per week (occasional home working where appropriate)
