Customer Service Advisor (Inbound Calls)

Location: Reading (Hybrid – 2 days office-based)

Contract: 12 months Hours:

37 hours per week (Mon–Fri, shifts between 8:30am–5:30pm)

We are currently recruiting for Customer Service Advisors to join a busy and supportive contact centre team based in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation where your ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction.

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inbound calls and supporting them with a range of queries.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Handling inbound customer calls in a professional and empathetic manner

· Understanding customer issues and working towards first call resolution

· Providing clear and accurate information using internal systems

· Troubleshooting problems and identifying effective solutions

· Recording customer interactions accurately

· Working collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge and improve service delivery

What We’re Looking For

· Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment

· Strong communication and active listening skills

· A proactive, problem-solving mindset

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Comfortable using multiple systems and technology
