Alexander Lloyd are proud to be exclusively partnering with an ambitious, fast-growing international organisation to recruit a newly created Finance Systems Analyst position on a permanent basis an exciting opportunity to join the business during a period of significant growth and transformation.
As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the client’s Finance systems are robust, efficient, and continuously improving. Positioned at the centre of the Finance technology landscape, you will help maintain the performance and integrity of critical systems while supporting the team’s evolving needs. From investigating system issues and maintaining strong controls to documenting processes and optimising system performance, your work will directly enable the Finance function to operate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking core BAU duties that support operation of a finance department, including administering access to our systems, month-end activities, and maintaining appropriate controls across our estate
- Working closely across Finance teams, IT, and 3rd party suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of end-user issues & queries
- Assisting the finance team with UAT and sharing best practices
- Assisting with the initial configuration of new systems and acting as a key contributor for the development of additional capabilities within the systems
What you need:
- Knowledge of database technologies e.g. SQL/Snowflake
- Previous experience of Workday Finance is essential
- High level of accuracy with the ability to reconcile large volumes of data
- Able to explain technical information to a non-technical audience
- Excellent organisational and time management skills – ability to work to strict deadlines
- Strong communication, listening and influencing skills (both internal and external)
