Senior Town Planner – Birmingham

This is the type of role that places you right in the centre of the action — working on city centre regeneration, tall buildings, student accommodation and mixed-use masterplans that genuinely reshape the skyline.

The Role

• Leading planning applications for complex regeneration schemes
• Preparing detailed Planning Statements and planning strategy reports
• Managing stakeholder engagement and authority negotiations
• Representing schemes at planning committee
• Managing Local Plan representations and supporting site promotion work
• Assisting with appeal submissions where required
• Supporting junior planners and contributing to team development

About You

• MRTPI qualified or close to achieving chartership
• Strong experience in urban planning and regeneration
• Confident communicator with clients, consultants and local authorities
• Commercially minded, with the ability to balance planning risk with delivery
