Quantity Surveyor

A well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a strong pipeline of secured work across South Wales.

This is a permanent role within a profitable, privately owned business delivering infrastructure, roads & sewers (S278 / S38), bulk earthworks and groundworks packages for residential and commercial developments.

The Role

• Full commercial responsibility for multiple projects
• Subcontract procurement and management
• Interim valuations and applications for payment
• Cost reporting and forecasting
• Variations and change control
• Final accounts
• Liaising with site teams and clients

Requirements

• Proven Quantity Surveyor experience within civils or groundworks
• Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
• Experience managing projects from start to final account
• Commercially astute and confident managing costs independently
