Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support the Legal team within a regulated financial services environment.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of legal and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions, including contract management, regulatory support, and stakeholder coordination across the business.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the efficient operation of legal processes, ensuring documentation is accurate, well-maintained, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the drafting, reviewing, and administration of a range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, supplier agreements, and employment-related documentation;
  • Maintaining and updating the contract management system, ensuring agreements are accurately recorded, tracked, and easily accessible;
  • Supporting the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations;
  • Conducting legal and regulatory research across applicable financial services regulations and jurisdictions;
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather information and assist with legal queries;
  • Coordinating the execution of legal documents, including arranging signatures and maintaining execution records;
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining legal templates, policies, and internal procedures; and
  • Supporting internal audits and regulatory reviews by collating and organising relevant legal documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Good understanding of contract structures and legal terminology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in a legal assistant, paralegal, or similar role (ideally within financial services or a regulated environment)
  • A degree in Law or a related discipline, or currently working towards a legal qualification
