Role Description

This is a full-time on-site/ hybrid role for a Purchasing Manager located in Long Crendon. The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement activities, supplier management , and inventory control processes. Key responsibilities include managing monitoring inventory levels, negotiation contracts, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials to meet operational needs. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and suppliers to align procurement strategies with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong procurement and supplier management skills, including negotiating contracts and optimizing supplier partnerships.
  • Experience in inventory management and cost-saving strategies.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and supply chain processes, with the ability to ensure timely delivery of quality goods.
  • Proficiency in analytics, including cost analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Familiarity with the electronics or power supply industry and certifications is a plus.
  • Proficient in supplier management software and other procurement tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, or a related field preferred.
