Profile Burner – Location: Birtley

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Profile Burner to join a busy and well-established site in Birtley.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled candidate looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent contract.

Salary: £15.22 per hour. Job type: Temp to Perm. Shift: Dayshift (flexibility to accommodate nightshift).

This role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis and offers competitive hourly pay. Nightshift uplift: £20 per shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Profile cutting of steel plate to specification
• Working from technical drawings
• Operating profile burning equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy

Requirements

• Proven experience in profile cutting of steel plate (essential)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures

Desirable

• Valid Forklift Truck Licence
• Overhead Crane licence
