The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor (1+ PQE) to join the firm’s highly regarded team. You will advise a broad client base on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters and play a part in business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on dismissals, discrimination, redundancy and TUPE
• Drafting contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
• Representing clients in employment tribunals
• Supporting corporate deals with employment input
• Providing day-to-day HR and employee relations advice
• Assisting senior lawyers on complex litigation
• Building strong and lasting client relationships
• Taking part in business development and networking

The Candidate

• Solicitor with 1+ PQE
• Solid experience in contentious and non-contentious work
• Strong drafting, advisory and advocacy skills
• Clear communicator with excellent client care
• Commercially aware and proactive
• Well organised and confident handling a busy caseload
• Team player keen to contribute to growth of the department
