Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer – London

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer to join a growing and well established fire and security business covering London and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who specialises in commissioning and wants to work on a mix of commercial and high value projects.

Role Overview

The role will involve commissioning, testing and handover of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial environments. You will play a key role in ensuring systems are delivered to a high standard and fully compliant.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning fire alarm systems on commercial projects
• Working on addressable systems including fault finding and final testing
• Programming and configuration of systems
• Supporting installation teams where required
• Carrying out system handovers and client demonstrations
• Ensuring all works meet BS5839 standards
• Completing all relevant documentation and certification

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer
• Strong knowledge of addressable fire alarm systems
• Experience with Notifier and Advanced systems preferred
• Good understanding of BS5839
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Full UK driving licence

Package

• Salary: £47,000 – £55,000 (DOE)
• Overtime available
