The Role
We’re looking for a proven Business Development Manager who knows how to produce revenue, not just talk about it.
This role is for someone who:
- Isn’t scared of picking up the phone
- Is happy getting their hands dirty
- Can build strategy and execute it
- Understands recruitment sales and long‑term client value
You’ll be responsible for winning new business, growing accounts, and helping shape the commercial direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business and revenue streams
- Build and execute a clear BD strategy (not just “try a few things”)
- Win and develop long‑term client partnerships
- Identify market opportunities and convert them into live accounts
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure service excellence
- Attend client meetings, site visits and networking events
- Represent First 4 Recruitment with confidence and credibility
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record of generating revenue (non‑negotiable)
- Strong background in business development or recruitment sales
- Confident communicator who can open doors and close deals
- Strategic thinker who is also highly proactive
- Comfortable working autonomously in a hybrid setup
- Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills
- Recruitment experience is highly desirable (industrial/logistics ideal)
