The Role

We’re seeking a confident and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join their high-performing team. This role will focus approximately 70% on new business development (identifying, pitching, and closing new clients) and 30% on growing existing relationships through upsell and cross-sell.

You’ll work across a portfolio of insight products and custom research solutions, tailoring proposals to each client’s strategic objectives and commercial challenges.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across core verticals
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through outbound outreach, warm leads, and industry events
  • Deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to specific business needs
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to closing and onboarding
  • Grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities to expand services and deepen partnerships
  • Work cross-functionally with insight, product, and marketing teams to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting

️ What You’ll Bring

  • 2-3 years in B2B sales, business development, or consultative selling
  • Demonstrated success in closing new business and managing revenue growth
  • Experience selling data, research, SaaS, or insight-based services (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication, pitching, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence working with clients in FMCG
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage your pipeline independently
