Keep production moving in a busy food manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineer to join a well-established business, supporting the smooth operation of essential equipment.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing machinery such as rollers, conveyors, line machines, motors, and heat exchangers
- Attending breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime
- Planning and completing scheduled maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Working closely with production teams to maintain output and efficiency
- Ensuring work is completed to high safety, hygiene, and quality standards
What Were Looking For:
- Proven engineering experience within food manufacturing
- Mechanical and/or electrical engineering skills
- Ideally experienced in hygienic welding and/or refrigeration systems
- CAD drawing experience would be beneficial
- Strong knowledge of motors and heat exchangers
- Excellent hygiene standards and attention to detail
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience attending and resolving production breakdowns
- Able to provide 3 years of referenceable work history

- 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (late shift)
