Job Description
Civil Tendering Engineer (Electrical Infrastructure / Power) – based in the UK with twice‑weekly visits to Scunthorpe. Salary: £75,000‑£85,000 plus car, healthcare, life assurance and career progression benefits.
We are looking for a Civil Tendering Engineer with a background in electrical infrastructure projects to deliver high‑value, technically complex schemes across the UK. The role involves tendering activities for major projects across sectors such as renewable energy, battery storage, and data centres, working on schemes up to £15 m+.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and lead civil tenders for electrical infrastructure projects.
- Review specifications and drawings to produce accurate cost estimates and technical solutions.
- Identify risks and opportunities to strengthen bid submissions.
Qualifications
- Proven tendering/estimating experience within civil or electrical infrastructure.
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or relevant industry experience.
Benefits
The advertised salary bracket is £75,000‑£85,000, dependent on experience and qualifications, and will be decided by the client. Additional benefits include car allowance, healthcare, and life assurance.
