Product and Research Operations Analyst (Fixed Term Contract)

About The Role

Cartesia is seeking a Product Operations Analyst to join our PRO (Product Research & Operations) team on an initial 3‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role for someone who is technically capable, has strong instincts around audio quality, and thrives in a fast‑moving environment.

Your Impact

• Operate and execute voice production workflows – specifically synthetic voice creation and quality evaluation
• Annotate audio quality to an extreme level of detail, providing confidence on the quality of a voice and becoming the go‑to expert for voice quality across the teams
• Support with executing research and analysis objectives in the domain of voices
  • Support on ad‑hoc tasks within the PRO team – flexible, high‑throughput, and reliable

What You Bring

• Strong project management instincts – able to juggle multiple workstreams, keep things moving, and never let things slip through the cracks
• Technical skills; understanding of how API’s work, LLMs, and basic Python/SQL programming skills
• Experience working with audio (e.g., voice actor, engineer or linguist), with strong opinions on voice quality

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in using AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude) to execute tasks rapidly without sacrificing quality
• Research‑driven mindset – curious, hypothesis‑oriented, and comfortable digging into data to find answers rather than waiting for direction
• Startup mindset – keen to learn and grow with us potentially longer term

Contract Details

• Rate: £35 per hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Duration: Initial 3 months, with possibility of extension
• Location: In‑person at our London Soho Office, minimum 4 days a week
• IR35 status: Inside IR35
