About the Role

We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Regional Account Manager to support and grow their presence across the Leeds region. This role is responsible for delivering a professional, solutions-led approach to customers, ensuring the most effective and efficient pumping solutions are provided to maximise revenue opportunities.

You will manage and develop key regional accounts while supporting national customers at their local level, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for growth. Working towards defined targets and business objectives, you will play a key role in expanding regional business and contributing to wider national account success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys and produce risk assessments and method statements, ensuring all technical and operational factors are considered while maintaining close communication with customer safety and quality teams.
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotations for pump hire solutions, offering the most suitable and cost-effective packages.
  • Take full ownership of all quotations, ensuring proactive follow-up and clear communication with customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders across your region.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s product range and service offering.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and contribute to achieving regional sales targets.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, customer sectors, and emerging technologies.
  • Effectively plan and manage your sales activities using CRM tools and structured scheduling.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a sales or account management role.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of the hire industry is desirable.
  • Technical understanding of pumps or related equipment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Demonstrated success in winning new business and developing existing accounts.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).
