Bridgwater, Somerset (Hybrid – 3 days site / 2 days remote)

Up to £470/day Umbrella or £345.79/day PAYE DOE

12-Month Contract (with potential extension)

Play a Key Role in One of the UK’s Most Complex Infrastructure Programmes

We are looking for an experienced Project Controls Engineer with a strong background in change management and coordination to support a major UK infrastructure project.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a central, high-impact role where you’ll drive the change process, influence project performance, and work across multiple programmes and stakeholders.

The Role

As a Project Controls Engineer (Change Coordinator), you will take ownership of the project-wide change process, ensuring accurate reporting, data integrity, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the monthly project controls reporting cycle and producing key outputs
  • Managing and maintaining the central change register and generating bespoke reports
  • Coordinating change activities across multiple programmes and project areas
  • Producing and maintaining KPIs for the change process
  • Managing Project ROTC reporting and associated governance meetings
  • Supporting the creation and update of Project Manager Baselines (PMB) within cost systems (e.g. Ecosys)
  • Driving process improvements and enhancing change management capability across the project
  • Leading and supporting change coordinators across the wider programme

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in Project Controls within large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong background in change control / change coordination
  • Experience working with cost tools (e.g. Ecosys) or similar systems
  • Ability to manage complex data, reporting, and stakeholder coordination
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders
  • Experience in regulated or highly complex environments (e.g. nuclear, energy, major construction) is highly desirable
