AC Installation Engineer
Location: Buckingham
Salary: £42,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)
Reporting to: HVAC Operations Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AC Installation Engineer to join a growing HVAC team delivering high-quality installations across domestic, commercial, and industrial projects.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a strong installation background who can work independently, maintain high workmanship standards, and represent the business professionally on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Install air conditioning systems including split, multi-split, VRV, and VRF systems
- Carry out first-fix and second-fix installations (pipework, brackets, containment, drainage)
- Assist with testing, commissioning, and system handovers
- Read and interpret technical drawings and site specifications
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
- Maintain clear communication with site teams and management regarding progress and issues
- Deliver clean, high-quality installations and maintain professional site conduct
Essential Requirements
- F-Gas Certification (mandatory)
- Proven experience in AC installation (not service-only)
- Strong experience with split and multi-split systems
- Ability to work independently on-site
- Good understanding of pipework, containment, and system setup
- Ability to read drawings or follow technical instructions
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, presentable, and professional
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with VRV / VRF systems
- Exposure to heat pumps or wider HVAC systems
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- Experience working across commercial and industrial projects
- Ability to lead small installations or support junior engineers
