Salary: £42,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)

Reporting to: HVAC Operations Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AC Installation Engineer to join a growing HVAC team delivering high-quality installations across domestic, commercial, and industrial projects.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a strong installation background who can work independently, maintain high workmanship standards, and represent the business professionally on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Install air conditioning systems including split, multi-split, VRV, and VRF systems
• Carry out first-fix and second-fix installations (pipework, brackets, containment, drainage)
• Assist with testing, commissioning, and system handovers
• Read and interpret technical drawings and site specifications
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
• Maintain clear communication with site teams and management regarding progress and issues
• Deliver clean, high-quality installations and maintain professional site conduct

Essential Requirements

• F-Gas Certification (mandatory)
• Proven experience in AC installation (not service-only)
• Strong experience with split and multi-split systems
• Ability to work independently on-site
• Good understanding of pipework, containment, and system setup
• Ability to read drawings or follow technical instructions
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable, presentable, and professional

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience with VRV / VRF systems
• Exposure to heat pumps or wider HVAC systems
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• Experience working across commercial and industrial projects
• Ability to lead small installations or support junior engineers
