Westland Horticulture, a market-leading and much-loved name in the gardening world, is looking for an Office Manager (12-month maternity cover) to keep our office and showroom running smoothly.

In this key role, you’ll be the go-to person for our team and visitors, ensuring the office runs efficiently while creating a welcoming and positive environment. Every day brings something different, and you’ll play a central part in keeping everything organised, seamless, and enjoyable for everyone.

As Office Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the office and showroom run seamlessly:

  • Coordinate meeting rooms and maintain accurate calendars.
  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and procurement for the building.
  • Provide administrative support to Directors and wider teams.
  • Assist with expense reports, travel bookings, and accommodation arrangements.
  • Organise internal meetings, events, and office activities.
  • Liaise with IT, facilities, and suppliers to maintain smooth operations.
  • Oversee security procedures and visitor management systems.
  • Support onboarding for new employees, including desk setup and welcome materials.
  • Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming reception and showroom environment.
  • Manage the showroom calendar and coordinate product presentations.
  • Work with Brand Managers to ensure products are current, well-presented, and fully stocked.
  • Maintain kitchen, mail, and delivery systems efficiently.
  • Act as a professional first point of contact for all visitors and customers.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Office Management, Administration, or Front-of-House roles.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional, approachable, and customer-focused manner.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a wider team.
