Trainee Pharmacy Dispenser

Position Overview

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a highly motivated Trainee Healthcare Partner (Pharmacy Dispenser) to contribute to patient care and support the pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, and healthcare professionals.
• Assist in the delivery of all pharmacy services where appropriate.
• Act as an ambassador for Rowlands Pharmacy, interacting with customers on a day‑to‑day basis.

Qualifications & Training

• Completion of a Healthcare Assistants Course (Level 2).
• Completion of a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification.

Essential Skills

• Self‑motivated and proactive.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of confidentiality.
• Accurate handling of medicines.

Desirable Skills

• Customer Service Training.
• Experience working in a customer‑focused environment.

Hours & Compensation

Total working hours: 12 (12 FTE). Rate of pay: £12.82 per hour.Branch: Denbigh, 37 Vale Street, Denbigh, LL16 3AH.
