6 month contract, £600 to £650 per day inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to join a global banking organisation to support the implementation of a new AI-powered tool within the Legal function.

The successful candidate will sit between Legal, Technology, and Operations teams, ensuring the delivery and adoption of a platform that captures and generates meeting minutes in real time. This is a hands-on delivery role, requiring someone who can translate business requirements into practical solutions, support technology rollouts, and ensure alignment with governance and regulatory requirements.

The BA will be responsible for end-to-end engagement across the Project Development Lifecycle, supporting solution design, testing, and delivery, while building strong relationships across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform requirements gathering and compile formal Business Requirements and Functional Specification documents, securing approvals as required.
  • Cover all aspects of Business Analyst engagement throughout the Project Development Lifecycle, including solution design, documentation, testing, and delivery.
  • Formulate and present proposed solutions to business users, ensuring alignment with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop testing approaches, test plans, and test cases, and perform System Integration Testing (SIT).
  • Support business users with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and compile/present test results.
  • Complete project/workstream status reports and ensure all project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
  • Identify, elevate, and track issues or risks to project or line management.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support technology initiatives, including presenting solutions to other parts of the organisation as needed.
  • Promote a dynamic, delivery-driven culture, working closely with business units to provide responsive, value-driven solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security, governance, and regulatory procedures.
  • Build relationships across the organisation, establishing a strong peer network and fostering collaboration.
  • Support the implementation and rollout of AI-powered tools within the Legal function, bridging business and technology teams to ensure successful adoption.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within Banking or Financial Services environments.
  • End-to-end Business Analyst experience supporting technology implementations or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and formal sign‑off processes.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, including test planning, system integration testing, and UAT.
  • Exposure to AI-powered tools or automation platforms, ideally for productivity or documentation.
  • Experience working between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience working in regulated environments, with an understanding of governance and compliance requirements.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience working with or supporting Legal teams or Legal technology projects.
  • Exposure to AI tools for transcription, meeting capture, or document automation.
  • Experience implementing productivity or collaboration tools within corporate functions.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI practices, or data security in enterprise environments.
