About the Role (Job Purpose)

We are looking for a high-potential Finance Manager to support FP&A and business partnering at Nscale. This role will work closely with senior stakeholders and the FP&A leadership team to deliver high-quality financial insight, support planning cycles, and drive better decision making across the business.

This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to grow their career in a commercially focused FP&A role. You will combine strong financial fundamentals with curiosity and a proactive mindset to help shape business performance in a fast-scaling environment.

The successful candidate will be a key business partner to several senior functional leaders at Nscale and will gain exposure to projects – varying from due diligence, post-merger integration, managing the launch of new processes and system implementation.

You will play a key role in translating financial data into actionable insight, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and partnering with teams to improve financial visibility and discipline.

What You’ll be Doing (Responsibilities)

Planning & Forecasting

  • Support the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, working with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment with business priorities.
  • Maintain and improve financial models to support planning, scenario analysis, and decision making.
  • Analyse performance vs budget/forecast, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.

Business Partnering

  • Partner with functional teams (e.g. Operations, People, Legal, Insurance) to provide financial insight and challenge assumptions.
  • Support stakeholders in understanding financial performance and making informed decisions.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted and proactive finance partner.

Performance Reporting & Insight

  • Prepare monthly reporting packs with clear commentary on performance, variances, and forward-looking risks.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Support development of KPIs and performance tracking frameworks.

Ad-hoc Analysis & Projects

  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, cost optimisation, and investment decisions.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives (e.g., systems, tools, process improvements).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A processes, reporting, and data quality.

About You (Skills / Qualifications)

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills in Excel (experience with financial systems a plus: NetSuite, Onestream, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in business partnering non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or a fast-paced/high-growth environment
  • Experience working with large datasets or BI tools

Personal Attributes

  • Commercially curious with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
  • Strong ownership mindset, taking responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability refer back to the bigger picture.
  • Confident and pragmatic stakeholder partner – you build trust with stakeholders and are comfortable challenging assumptions constructively.
  • High standards with pace, delivering high-quality work in a fast‑paced environment.

What We Can Offer You

  • Highly competitive package (base + equity) with reviews every 12 months. …
