This includes responsibility for our group website dhl.com, where we manage content authoring, technical platform development, and constantly evolving the most important customer journeys.

Senior Manager – Digital Content Operations

The Senior Manager Digital Content Operations supports the shaping and execution of digital content management on DHL.com and platform members globally, in 44 languages across all DHL divisions. This role ensures high-quality, scalable, and consistent content experiences across all divisions. The role owns the Content Excellence Framework (CEF), including all standards, guidelines, and learning resources within the Content Community Hub, and drives its continuous evolution and adoption. A core responsibility for this role is providing strategic support and alignment to Business Unit content leads on strategic dhl.com content topics. The position also supports the assessment and introduction of new technologies such as AI and Adobe AEM enhancements to improve governance, efficiency, and user‑centric digital experiences.

What’s your role

  • Owner of Content Excellence Framework (CEF): Own and evolve the CEF standards for high‑quality, scalable, compliant, and user‑centric content delivery across dhl.com.
  • Content Topic Steering: Provide strategic leadership and alignment support to BU content leads on high‑priority content topics and key initiatives.
  • Senior Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and engagement across strategic content programs.
  • Authoring Guidance & Enablement: Contribute to maintaining consistent, high‑quality content by supporting guidelines and authoring learning resources within the Content Community Hub.
  • Insights, KPIs & Performance Measurement: Implement and manage KPIs performance dashboards to measure content request volumes per division, process efficiency, and impact.
  • Innovation and tool adoption, including exploring new AI opportunities, workflow automation, and Adobe AEM enhancements that improve BU content operations.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration: Collaborate with IT, UX, and platform teams to ensure content operating models, governance, and tooling support broader DHL digital objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the Content Operations area through data insights, stakeholder feedback, and evolving industry best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or IT.
  • At least 6 years of work experience in the digital marketing field with a proven track record of project management and delivery.
  • High affinity to digital marketing and its numerous dimensions, whether it be the technology & platforms to enable, the channels & touchpoints to deploy, or the principles such as user‑centricity to optimize.
  • Extensive understanding and practical experience of Content Management Systems and platforms for multiple country/language website management, preferably Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Ideally, understanding and practical experience of tools/platforms for channel marketing deployment.
  • Ideally, knowledge of the business of DHL Group, the various business units, business models, customers, and products OR at least experience within a multinational with equivalent organizational complexity.
  • Experience in managing agencies and other partners.
  • Team player with ability to lead, motivate, and support team members, as well as recruit for team growth.
  • Robust stakeholder management and communication capability.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile!
