About the Role

As a Principal Process Engineer within our Business Winning team, you’ll play a central role in shaping technical solutions and engineering excellence that help us secure the projects powering the UK’s clean‑energy, defence, and decommissioning future. You’ll lead multidisciplinary engineering inputs that strengthen our bids, influence high‑value programmes, and contribute directly to work that protects national capability.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

  • Lead the process engineering elements of bids.
  • Develop and deliver engineering scope, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Ensure technical integrity, compliance, and quality.
  • Produce and review technical reports and verification plans.
  • Promote engineering best practice and mentor others.

Essential Experience

  • Significant demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
  • Experience managing teams delivering technical activities.
  • Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (or equivalent) with significant experience.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
