Role: Senior People Partner

Location: UK (London-based / Hybrid)

Function: HR Business Partnering

Hybrid 3 days in London with occasional travel

Salary £80k – £85k + bonus

Role Overview:

A senior, high‑impact People Partner role supporting a fast‑growing, service‑led business within a larger organisation. Operating at leadership level, the role shapes and delivers people strategy to enable scale, transformation and sustainable growth.

Working closely with the Managing Director and leadership team, the Senior People Partner provides commercial, pragmatic people leadership across organisation design, change, talent, capability and engagement. The role has a strong organisational development focus, partnering leaders on structure, capability, leadership effectiveness and operating model evolution in a build‑and‑scale environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner senior leaders to shape and deliver people strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead organisation design, workforce planning and change initiatives to support growth.
  • Act as an OD‑style partner to leaders, strengthening leadership capability, decision‑making and organisational effectiveness.
  • Advise on talent, succession, performance, reward, engagement and employee relations.
  • Provide trusted challenge, insight and commercial people advice to the leadership team.
  • Translate people data into clear insight and actionable recommendations.
  • Drive initiatives to improve capability, retention, engagement and leadership effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with specialist HR teams to deliver integrated, fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
  • Ensure people practices meet governance, conduct and regulatory expectations.

Experience & Capability

  • Senior HR Business Partner with strong generalist experience in a large organisation.
  • Proven ability to influence and operate credibly with senior leaders.
  • Experience supporting business growth, transformation or scale‑up within complex organisations.
  • Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to people solutions.
  • Strong change, organisation design and talent experience.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
  • Experience of regulated environments and union/employee relations is advantageous.
