Key Account Manager (KAM) – BESS Product and Solutions | UK Market
Leap29 are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) to drive growth in the rapidly expanding BESS sector, focusing on engineering and installation solutions. Our client are headquartered in Europe, and have both a products and solutions area of the business, within Utility Scale BESS, Solar and Transmission and Grid activities.
The Role
As a KAM, you’ll be at the forefront of the UK expansion, building strong client relationships with project businesses such as Developers, EPC’s, Investment Portfolio’s, Utility companies and securing new business to deliver the BESS products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow strategic accounts within the UK BESS market
- Identify and secure new opportunities for engineering & installation services
- Act as the main point of contact for key clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with technical and project delivery teams to ensure successful execution
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in BESS, renewables, or energy infrastructure
- Strong commercial acumen and account management skills
- Background in engineering, EPC, or installation services is highly desirable
- Established network within the UK energy market (With Developers, EPC, Investment Portfolio, Utilities companies)
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
