Job title: Sheet Metal Fabricator
Location: Dartford
Salary: up to £17.96 per hour / £35,489 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Friday!
Our client is a well-established specialist in bespoke metal fabrication, delivering high-quality metalwork solutions across a range of sectors.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate sheet metal components from technical drawings and specifications.
- Cut, bend, shape and assemble materials using hand tools and machinery.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes.
- Carry out MIG and TIG welding.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Work with a variety of metals including steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of fabrication machinery and hand tools
- MIG/TIG welding experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and proactive
