Head of Business Development – AXS, AEG

Are you a business development expert ready to shape the future of live entertainment? AXS, part of AEG, is a global leader in ticketing technology powering unforgettable live experiences for millions of fans worldwide.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow the UK new business pipeline, delivering against sales targets.
  • Head up all UK sales activity, from opportunity spotting through to deal close.
  • Identify new revenue streams with promoters, venues and rights holders.
  • Build strong relationships with venues, promoters and rights holders.
  • Be the go‑to contact for new business opportunities.
  • Represent AXS at UK industry events and conferences.
  • Deliver pitches, proposals and presentations with clarity and impact.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, supported by the wider team.
  • Track market trends, competitors and upcoming tender opportunities.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to align sales strategy.
  • Share market insight to shape product development and go‑to‑market plans.
  • Support and coach colleagues where needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience winning new business through compelling pitches and negotiation.
  • Background in live events and/or ticketing (highly desirable).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leaders.
  • CRM experience, ideally Salesforce.
  • Flexibility to travel in the UK and internationally when required.

Location & Working Arrangements

This role is based in our London Head Office near London Bridge station. You’ll work three days in the office (Tue‑Thu) and two days from home (Mon & Fri). Flexible start and end times and flexible working discussions are welcomed.
