The Civil Engineering Contractors Association Scotland (CECA Scotland) is seeking a Regional Director to lead the organisation and represent Scotland’s civil engineering contractors at the highest level.
CECA Scotland represents around 100 member companies delivering approximately 80% of Scotland’s civil engineering infrastructure, across transport, energy, communications, waste and water sectors.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for strategic direction, stakeholder engagement, policy influence, and operational management. The successful candidate will act as CECA Scotland’s primary spokesperson, working closely with government, clients, and industry partners to support growth and investment in Scotland’s infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and deliver CECA Scotland’s objectives
- Represent members with Scottish Government and key stakeholders
- Influence infrastructure policy and procurement
- Lead member engagement and grow membership
- Manage operations, staff and budgets
- Act as spokesperson for the organisation
Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills
- Politically aware with stakeholder management experience
- Knowledge of infrastructure or construction sector desirable
- Experience managing budgets and organisational performance
Other Information
- UK travel required with occasional overnight stays
- Flexible working, with some evening events
