Description
We’re looking for a pro‑active, data‑driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead customer activation, engagement, and retention across B2B and B2C audiences. You will develop and optimise lead generation, support sales management and drive continuous improvement through insights, analytics and marketing automation.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys solving problems collaboratively and brings a strong understanding of CRM, automation and customer behaviour.
You will need proven experience in developing customer‑centric programs, test‑and‑learn strategies and KPI development and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver strategies to grow acquisition, conversion, retention and loyalty across our target segments
- Design and optimise customer journeys, automated engagement programmes and pipeline nuture
- Create test and learn strategies, using insights to refine messaging, segmentation, and channel performance
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate workflows that improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Manage data segmentation, governance and integration
- Support the development of digital channels across web, email, social
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop concepts, content and approach
- Develop our intelligence on our existing customers, prospects, and target markets
- Produce accurate, timely reports and analytics, using data insights to recommend improvements, shape future activity and inform decision-making.
Essential
- Experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or a senior digital marketing support lead
- Proven track record in campaign planning and lead generation
- Strong understanding of CRM and CMS systems, sales processes, and marketing automation, (Salesforce experience essential)
- Confident using data analytics tools (including Excel, GA4 etc)
- Strong digital background, data literacy and problem‑solving skills
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- Salesforce certification
- Familiarity with data migration projects and integrating marketing technology platforms
- Experience in financial services
Base: You’ll be based at the Benchmark Head Office, within our Broadlands Business Campus near Horsham in West Sussex, but may need to be present across our other offices, including the main Schroders headquarters in London.
