Financial Controller Required in Farnborough

Location: Farnborough (2 days onsite)

Rate: £40 per hour (Self‑employed)

Start Date: ASAP

Overview

We are supporting an established aviation based in Farnborough who require an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller to support them onsite 2 days per week. You will oversee the finance function, manage the cashflow and provide clear financial visibility to the SLT.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts
• Lead on budgeting and forecasting processes
• Oversee and manage cashflow forecasting and reporting
• Provide financial insights to support business decision‑making
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to improve financial performance
• Support ad‑hoc financial projects as required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance professional
• Strong background in management accounting, budgeting, and cashflow management
• Experience working in SMEs or growing businesses
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• We cannot offer sponsorship to overseas workers. A minimum of 2 years of UK‑based experience as a Financial Controller is required to apply.
