Our CL Business Control team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and data-driven Senior Finance Business Analyst. In this role, you will support the production of weekly accounts, financial KPIs, and continuous development of financial cost models against client portfolios, as well as support the Finance Business Partner with the consolidation of financial data within the relevant sector.
Responsibilities
- Sustain a working knowledge of volume and cost information sources, identifying and driving continuous improvements to financial data collection and reporting processes
- Lead and support a team of Finance Business Analysts
- Liaise with the Business Development & Solution Design teams to support new business opportunities and implementations
- Model financial scenarios to assist the Leadership teams to make informed business decisions
- Frequent travel to sites (~50% travel)
- Approve management accounts, ensuring checks are conducted and results are agreed with the Finance Business Partner
- Support in the monthly production of client financial review reports and presentations for internal and external use
- Assist in ensuring invoices are raised accurately, queries are dealt with promptly, and overdue debt is minimized
- Ensure continuous development of the portfolio’s finance model
- Provide insightful and accurate information to all users of the Finance Performance Reports
- Produce and oversee production of CEVA financial KPIs in line with the business control manual and assist in analysing and explaining KPI, budget, and forecast performance variations
- Assist in producing and reviewing monthly outlooks, annual budgets, and forecasts as required
- Assist in producing the monthly MBR packs and completing files required for wider CEVA senior management
- Review and validate balance sheets to ensure items are valid and backed by sufficient supporting evidence
Qualifications
- Proven experience in management accounts and financial reporting, ideally in a customer-facing role
- Highly numerate with the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and influence decisions
- Willingness to challenge and interrogate data in a considered and methodical manner
- Experience in managing and developing teams
- Excellent communicator who can build trusted relationships and explain complex issues to financial and non-financial colleagues
- Logical thinker and natural problem solver
- IT literate with strong working knowledge of accounting and reporting software, proficient in MS Excel
- Professional qualification such as CIMA or ACCA desirable, though not essential
