With a strong reputation for quality and service, the business continues to grow and supply a broad range of blue-chip customers.RequirementsEssentialProven experience as a CNC Setter/OperatorAbility to set machines independently from setup sheetsStrong understanding of engineering drawingsGood knowledge of tooling, speeds, and feedsExperience working to tight tolerances and quality standardsAbility to carry out self-inspection using micrometres, verniers, and gaugesStrong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality workDesirableExperience with Mazak CNC lathes and/or Haas machining centresPrevious experience within a precision engineering environmentThe RoleCarry out full machine setup from working setup sheetsSet tooling, offsets, and fixturesOperate Mazak CNC lathes and Haas machining centresProduce precision components in low to medium batch quantitiesWork to tight tolerances while maintaining high quality standardsPerform self-inspection to ensure components meet specificationsManage your own workload to ensure efficient productionWork independently while contributing to a busy machining departmentWhat’s next? xwzovoh It’s easy!
