Position Overview

At Aston Martin, we are redefining the future of luxury performance through our Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division. We are looking for an experienced and driven SVO Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-value vehicle programmes from early concept through to Start of Production.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of complex, high‑value SVO vehicle programmes from early concept through to production readiness.
  • Translate SVO product strategy into clear and structured operational plans and steer programmes through initial definition to production readiness.
  • Bring together cross‑functional stakeholders through the Project Steering Team, setting governance and rhythm to drive delivery while maintaining clear oversight of risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Manage project scope, control costs, and maintain detailed programme plans that track progress against key milestones and gateway deliverables.
  • Actively manage risks across cost, quality, and timing, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating when necessary.
  • Support core engineering and build activities, including BOM management, change‑control processes, and physical build phases.
  • Ensure the right resources are in place to meet delivery requirements and maintain strong collaboration across project teams, Vehicle Line Managers, and Programme Leads.
  • Manage and develop a team of Project Leaders, setting clear objectives and building capability to ensure best‑in‑class delivery.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing insights, reporting, and guidance to support strategic decision‑making.

Qualifications

  • Strong engineering foundation supported by a degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex vehicle programmes or systems within an OEM or similar environment.
  • Experience working within structured New Product Introduction frameworks such as MISSION or GPDS and deep understanding of full vehicle programme lifecycles.
  • Confidence leading cross‑functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels, balancing technical, commercial, and timing priorities.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complexity.
  • Comfortable working with project planning and reporting tools and a proactive mindset to problem‑solving and risk management.
  • Occasional travel to other Aston Martin sites and a full, valid UK driving licence are required.
