Proficient with Windows, Google Workspace, Apple, Networking, Safeguarding tools and a wide range of other technologies typically found in an Education environment (up to 3rd line services.) A bonus if you have worked in a school/education setting before!
The ICT Technician will be based at customer premises, 5 days per week. The primary contact for all their IT needs, their trusted technical partner. You’ll also form part of a small team providing support service to a number of other schools in the area and be required to work closely and support your colleagues located in these other schools.
Be the lead contact for other onsite IT school support Resolve all IT issues in an efficient and timely manner Continuously develop skills, expertise and understanding in any required areas that would improve delivery of support and management or administration of systems, software or services Network administration/troubleshooting Able to implement and manage the school’s Safeguarding policies and procedures on their chosen platform Manages and maintains the school’s cyber security systems Assist with the management and administration of Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Telephony Services and Network Infrastructure as or when required Hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
