We are seeking an experienced Field Service and Technical Advising Specialist to join Wabtec’s Freight Global Services team in Leeds. Role: Field Service and Technical Advising Specialist Hours: Monday to Friday 06:30 am to 14:30pm, 37 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Our Field Service Technical Advice Specialists are trained subject matter experts in diagnosing and troubleshooting our Powerhaul (Class 70) Locomotives. There is the option to undertake world-class training at our corporate training facility where you will become certified in troubleshooting locomotive electrical systems and advising on the maintenance of our locomotive engines.
Provide technical support and training during maintenance activities, working as part of a small team based at the customer site. Analyse performance data. Travel within the UK as required to support operational needs.
Full UK driving licence and willing to travel within the UK as required to support operational needs. Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics. Legal authorisation to work in the UK is required.
