A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Public Health professional to take on a senior leadership role supporting the improvement of health and social outcomes across County Durham and the wider North East. This 6-month contract role offers a day rate of around £450 , working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week . The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering statutory public health duties, shaping strategic programmes across the life course, and driving delivery of the area’s Public Health Vision and Strategic Plan. You’ll lead major initiatives to protect and enhance the health and wellbeing of local communities.
Lead the design and delivery of strategic public health programmes. Take responsibility for one of the core domains of public health: health improvement, health protection assurance, or healthcare quality.
