Europe, and are looking for a Mandarin Speaking Customs Clearance Officer for there location in New Malden
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage customs clearance procedures for both imports and exports.
● Ensure strict compliance with UK customs regulations and procedures.
● Liaise with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and clients to resolve clearance issues.
● Process customs declarations using the Customs Declaration Service (CDS).
● Maintain accurate records of customs documentation and declarations.
● Assist in resolving customs-related delays or discrepancies.
● Support cross-border logistics operations between the UK and Belgium.
Personal Specification:
● 2+ years’ experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics.
● Knowledge of UK and EU import/export regulations.
● Familiarity with customs declaration systems (CDS, CHIEF, etc.) is advantageous.
● Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
● Proficiency in English and Mandarin is Required
