Job Title: HR Manager/Lead

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire (hybrid on offer)

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: Dependant on experience

Length: 12 months (Maternity Cover)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Project Lead to join our client’s HR Operations and Employee Relations team. This is a fixed-term role (12 months) to cover maternity leave, based in Basingstoke with hybrid working options. The successful candidate will lead a variety of HR projects focused on process improvement, service optimization, and change management, while also supporting data analytics and policy development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver HR projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Drive automation initiatives and leverage technology to streamline HR services
  • Manage data reporting, dashboards, and analytics, including headcount planning
  • Update HR policies and develop training and communication materials
  • Conduct workplace investigations in line with best practices

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in HR project delivery and process improvement
  • Strong data analysis skills, including advanced Excel; Power BI is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Experience in employee relations and conducting workplace investigations
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience preferred
