JOB – Project Manager
LOCATION – Bournemouth
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (plus benefits)
My client is a well-established Engineering and Manufacturing company that delivers bespoke solutions to a range of industries.They are looking to take on a Project Manager to oversee their projects simultaneously from initial concept through to completion at their site in Bournemouth.
The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
• Proven experience managing multiple engineering or manufacturing projects at once
• Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
• Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Familiarity with project management methodologies – PRINCE2 certification is desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
The Project Manager role will involve:
• Overseeing multiple engineering/manufacturing projects concurrently
• Managing the full project lifecycle – from proposal and design through to delivery and installation
• Dealing with suppliers to ensure materials and components are sourced on time and within budget
• Coordinating with design, production, and quality teams to meet project objectives
• Managing schedules, budgets, and resources effectively
• Acting as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions when needed
• Producing project documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders
