This pivotal role has the main objective of reviewing, evolving, and assuring the effectiveness of business processes enabling product delivery to time, cost and quality. A fundamental part of this role is the improvement of working processes to comply with the AS 9100 Aerospace quality standard and integrating process changes into our existing Quality systems.

Based at our Colchester site on a full-time/hybrid basis (and we’re flexible with what that looks like!). We have flexible working with core hours of 10am to 3pm – working 37.5 hours per week.

Define and execute a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with business goals and technology roadmaps, ensuring quality supports growth and innovation. Work with senior managers developing and modifying current and new procedures, removing duplication and ensuring management system compliance to the AS9100 standard at all design locations Inspire, develop and drive the Quality Assurance team to achieve excellence, building technical capability and ownership, and a proactive problem-solving culture. Act as the voice of the customer for quality, ensuring that reliability, performance, and compliance standards meet or exceed customer and industry requirements. Establish and undertake a risk-based audit programme in house and within the supply chain to anticipate, minimize risk and drive improvement To use suitable problem-solving tools to determine failure root cause / action and to undertake failure trend analysis to identify systemic weakness to drive improvement and standardization across the company Skills, Experience, and Essential Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong Quality background in electronics hardware and software design disciplines Demonstrated success in the implementation and maintenance of quality management system Concise planning, analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail Proficient MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Degree / HND in Quality Management or a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
