Production Operative – Milton Keynes – Automotive / EV / eVTOL – £25k to £30k Working Arrangement: 5 days a week on site

We’re supporting one of the UK’s most exciting innovators in electric propulsion and eVTOL technologies, who are expanding their production and build operations team in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Production Operative, Apprentice, or Junior Technician to join a world-class engineering business at the forefront of next-generation electric powertrain and propulsion development.

You’ll support the build, assembly, and production of electric propulsion systems, mechanical subassemblies, and prototype components. Working alongside experienced technicians and engineers, you’ll gain first-hand experience in manufacturing and testing high-performance systems for EV and eVTOL platforms.

This role would suit someone with a mechanical or electrical background, or an apprentice-level engineer looking to take the next step into a high-tech R&D and production environment.

Support daily production and build activities for electric propulsion systems and components Assist in assembling, fitting, and preparing parts for testing and validation Use hand tools and basic workshop equipment to perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks Conduct basic inspection and quality checks on finished components 1+ year experience in a hands-on workshop, manufacturing, or production environment – or completion of a relevant apprenticeship / college course (automotive, mechanical, or electrical preferred)~ Confident using basic hand tools and workshop equipment~ Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship~ Interest in electric vehicles, propulsion systems, or aerospace technology
