Technical Author

Our busy Engineering client in the Dungannon area require a Technical Author to join their team. Salary: £35000 – £40000 An exciting opportunity is available for a Technical Author to create clear, engaging, and user-friendly documentation for complex products and services. This role is ideal for someone who can translate technical information into accessible content for a range of audiences. Key Responsibilities Develop user guides, manuals, training materials, and online help content Translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation Work closely with engineering, design, and sales teams to gather information Produce technical specifications and supporting documentation Create maintenance instructions and troubleshooting guides Coordinate with external providers such as translators and printers Review and improve existing documentation and processes Support sales teams with technical information and customer interactions Contribute to continuous improvement and product quality initiatives Skills & Experience Experience in technical writing, documentation, or user guide creation Familiarity with CAD and technical/engineering environments Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and a methodical approach Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong organisational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and tools such as Adobe Acrobat/Illustrator Desirable Degree in an engineering-related discipline Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment Creative approach to producing clear and visually engaging documentation Additional Information Opportunity to work on a variety of technical projects Collaborative environment with cross-functional teams Role offers scope for creativity and continuous improvement If interested Apply below or contact Eunice Loughran in Haughey Recruitment to discuss this role in more detail on Benefits: Paid Holidays Parking Pension Fund…
