Private Investments Associate

Location: London, with expected transition to Switzerland

Type: Full-time

About ENM Capital

ENM Capital is a private investment office with activities across public markets, real estate, and private investments. We are building the next phase of the platform around direct investing, long-term capital allocation, and the creation of high-quality operating businesses.

We are looking for a Private Investments Associate to work directly with the principal and senior team on evaluating opportunities, supporting transactions, and helping drive new investment initiatives.

This role is designed for a junior, high-potential candidate who wants steep learning, real exposure, and significant responsibility early in their career. It is not a large corporate role with narrow responsibilities. It is an opportunity to become part of a small, ambitious team and grow with the platform over time.

The Role

You will support the evaluation and execution of direct investment opportunities across sectors and business models. You will work on live opportunities, research new ideas, build analyses, and help coordinate due diligence and transaction workstreams.

You will be expected to think independently, take ownership, and contribute meaningfully from the start.

This role is ideal for someone who is:

  • highly analytical
  • commercially curious
  • hard-working
  • mature for their age
  • excited by responsibility
  • motivated to build a long-term career in investing

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and return scenarios
  • Research industries, companies, and business models
  • Support screening of direct investment opportunities
  • Prepare internal investment materials, presentations, and memoranda
  • Assist with commercial, financial, and operational due diligence
  • Help coordinate third-party advisors including lawyers, accountants, and consultants
  • Track live opportunities and support transaction execution
  • Monitor existing investments and strategic projects
  • Contribute proactively to idea generation and investment discussions
  • Support the principal and senior team on ad hoc strategic projects

Ideal Candidate

  • 1–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction services, consulting, corporate finance, or a similar analytical environment
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of accounting, valuation, and financial statements
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High work ethic and willingness to take responsibility early
  • Commercially minded and intellectually curious
  • Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment

What We Are Looking For

We are not looking for someone who wants a highly structured large-firm path with narrow responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who wants:

  • real exposure
  • real responsibility
  • steep development
  • direct access to decision-making
  • the chance to grow over time inside a private investment platform

The right person will be ambitious, rational, loyal, and excited by the opportunity to help build something over the long term.

What We Offer

  • Direct exposure to the principal and investment decision-making
  • Broad experience across direct investing, diligence, and strategic projects
  • Significant responsibility early in your career
  • A lean team environment with fast learning and high ownership
  • Opportunity to grow into a more senior investing role over time
  • Competitive compensation and long-term upside for the right candidate
