JD Residential is a small to medium-sized main contractor specialising in the residential construction sector. We cover new build, extension, and refurbishment. The business has been running for seven years, and we are a team of nine. We have built long-lasting relationships with subcontractors and professional networks, most of our work is across Henley-on-Thames, Shiplake, Marlow, Cookham, and Wallingford areas. The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will report to the Construction Manager and work closely with the internal JD Residential team and external professional consultants.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing day-to-day site operations across varied residential projects
- Coordinating trades and subcontractors
- Keeping projects on programme, within budget, and to a high standard
- Maintaining excellent health & safety practices on site
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction across residential new build and refurbishment/extension projects is highly preferable.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and changing site conditions
- A proactive, hands-on approach
Qualifications
- SMSTS or SSSTS preferred but not essential
- Relevant degree also preferred but again not essential
Location – Position is based in / around Henley on Thames (applicant must be in commuting distance) | Full-time, Salary from £45,000 pa plus benefits.
