COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY PROJECT’S SUPPORT OFFICER (EVAWG – Funded) SO1 SCP 25-27 (£36,363 – £38,220) Attractive employer pension contribution 1 x Fixed term Contract for up to 2 years subject to funding, 37 hours per week Location: Mossley Mill, but may be required to work from any Council site or facility within the Borough MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB This role forms part of the Council’s work to support delivery under the Northern Ireland Strategic Framework to End Violence Against Women and Girls and the Domestic and Sexual Abuse Strategy (2024-2031). It involves working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners including the Policing and Community Safety Partnership, Community Planning partners, the Northern Domestic and Sexual Violence Partnership, the Police Service of Northern Ireland, The Executive Office and wider community and voluntary sector stakeholders to deliver funded programmes and associated action plans. The postholder will help strengthen local capacity and support the delivery of interconnected community development programmes to promote safety, inclusion and longer-term community resilience across the Borough.
