Connect Appointments is recruiting a Forklift Driver to join our East Kilbride-based manufacturing client on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Our client is an established manufacturer offering a supportive working environment that places its people first.

What’s on offer?

• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (early finish on Fridays)
• 13.33 per hour, increasing to 13.99 after probation (around 12 weeks)
• Paid weekly
• Immediate starts available

As a Forklift Driver, your duties will include:

• Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy industrial environment
• Stacking, moving and relocating goods to designated storage and loading areas
• Unloading deliveries and consolidating partial pallets
• Keeping forklift operating areas clear of spills and obstructions
• Carrying out regular equipment checks and reporting any faults

The ideal Forklift Driver will have:

• A valid Counterbalance xwzovoh licence
• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Good spatial awareness and attention to detail
• A solid understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements
• The ability to work well as part of a team
